On the 100th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, the Armenian Church honored the memory of all 1.5 million victims by canonizing them as saints.  This was the first canonization of a saint by the Armenian Church in more than 400 years.  Now we have both a moral and religious obligation to honor their memory, just as we have each and every year.  Our efforts to organize candle light vigils at the White House, protests at the Turkish Embassy, Capitol Hill receptions with Members of Congress, and commemoration ceremonies at the Armenian Embassy are just some of the activities unique to our local Washington, DC community and absolutely essential to raising public awareness and political support for our shared goal of both justice and peace.  That is why we have created this page to allow you to easily contribute to our annual Genocide commemoration activities, which will be posted here each year.  Please make your contribution by completing the donation form below.  You can also contact the church office at 301-229-8742 for more information or if you would like to donate by check.
